Jardin des Sens Chabannes
We warmly welcome you to our chambre d’hôtes and will do everything we can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. To ensure everything runs smoothly, we kindly ask you to read the following reservation and house policies.
1. Reservation & Payment
- A reservation is confirmed once you have received written confirmation by email from us.
- Within 7 days after confirmation, we request a 50% deposit of the total stay amount.
- The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before arrival, unless otherwise agreed.
- For last-minute bookings, full advance payment may be required.
2. Cancellation & Changes
- Up to 2 months before arrival, you may reschedule your stay free of charge to another available date within the same calendar year.
- In case of cancellation, the following charges apply:
- Up to 30 days before arrival: 50% of the total stay amount.
- Less than 30 days before arrival: 100% of the total stay amount.
- In case of no-show or early departure, the full amount will be charged.
- In case of an emergency, an exception may be considered. The host reserves the right to request supporting documentation.
- We strongly recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance.
3. Check-in & Check-out
- Check-in: from 16:00 (4:00 PM).
- We kindly ask you to arrive before 19:00 (7:00 PM) whenever possible. Please inform us in advance if you expect to arrive later.
- Early check-in and late check-out may be possible upon request and subject to availability. An additional fee may apply.
- Check-out: before 10:00 (10:00 AM) on the day of departure.
4. Housekeeping & Sanitary Facilities
- For stays longer than one week, your room will be cleaned once per week, including fresh bed linen and towels.
- During a one-week stay, we will not enter your room unless requested.
- Additional cleaning can be arranged upon request for a fee of €30.
- After four days, you may request a complimentary fresh towel set (one large and one small towel per person).
- Additional towel changes are available for €7 per set.
- Please dispose of toilet paper only in the toilet. Do not flush sanitary products, wipes, cotton pads, or other materials.
- We are connected to a septic tank, and the plumbing is sensitive. If the toilet becomes blocked due to misuse, repair costs will be charged to the guest.
5. Personal Drinks
- You are welcome to consume your own drinks inside your room, using your own glasses.
- In the shared indoor and outdoor areas, we kindly ask you to purchase drinks from us. We offer a wide selection of soft drinks, beer, and wine.
- You may help yourself from our refrigerator and note your consumption daily. At the end of your stay, we will send you the bill by email for payment.
- If you wish to consume your own wine or drinks outside your room, a corkage fee applies:
- €10 per bottle
- €2 per glass
This includes the use of our refrigerator and glassware.
6. Meals
- Breakfast is included for guests staying in our chambre d’hôtes rooms and is served between 07:00 and 09:00.
- In bad weather, breakfast is served in your room.
- In good weather, breakfast is served outside on the terrace.
- Twice per week, we offer a three-course dinner, including non-alcoholic beverages.
- Price: €32.50 per person
- Alcoholic drinks are available at an additional charge.
- Please reserve at least 3 days in advance.
- If you have dietary requirements, allergies, or food preferences, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you.
7. Use of Facilities
- Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout your stay.
- Use of the swimming pool is at your own risk and permitted until 21:00 (9:00 PM).
- Please use your own pool towel and do not use bathroom towels by the pool.
- If you do not have a pool towel, you may rent one for €5 per week.
- Before entering the jacuzzi or swimming pool, please rinse off in the summer kitchen or use the outdoor cold shower.
- Please be considerate of other guests when using the pool, garden, and shared spaces.
8. Liability
- The host is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to guests’ personal belongings.
- Use of all B&B facilities is entirely at your own risk.
9. House Rules
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property, except:
- at the roadside in front of the house, or
- near the front gate, where an ashtray is provided.
- Please do not feed our dog Rico (including dog treats), and please do not call or give him commands. Feel free to give him plenty of cuddles and attention.
- Guests staying at the camper pitches may bring their own dog, provided the dog is:
- kept on a leash,
- placed in a crate,
- enclosed with your own fencing (mandatory).
Please bring your own waste bags.
- No glass is allowed near the swimming pool, including coffee mugs and tea cups. Plastic cups and glasses are available free of charge.
- Please respect the peace and privacy of other guests. Quiet hours begin at 22:00 (10:00 PM).
- Guests of the chambre d’hôtes may use the central communal area. The private kitchen and living room are not accessible.
- Please remove your shoes when going to your room. Shoe covers are available upon request.
